Featured ranking and stars. The numbered "Highlighted communities" (#1–#5) and their five-star display are CarePath's own editorial selection and ordering. They are not independent, verified, or government quality ratings, are not based on resident reviews, and do not reflect a partnership, endorsement, or payment unless a listing is labeled "Paid placement."

Official ratings. Where a government source publishes a quality rating (for example, Medicare Care Compare star ratings for nursing homes), we show it on the community's profile with its source and date. That official rating may differ from CarePath's editorial order.
